Wake up and smell the coffee: Starbucks' new logo great for illiterate Americans

You know that saying, "If it ain't broke, don't fix it."?
Well, apparently, the folks in Starbucks marketing department haven't heard it.
If we are paying $7 for a cup of coffee, we want it to look hot, and we just don't feel like the new logo looks expensive enough (seems to be missing something, eh?).
The company says a logo without words also reflects Starbucks' expansion plans in China and other international markets.
It's also great for illiterate Americans with the need for caffeine speed.
