One of our spies just spotted our vice president at the AMC Loews theater in Georgetown. He was walking out of a movie with just a couple of Secret Service agents.

L2 Lounge in Georgetown hosted a fun "Open Season Party" on Black Friday, which encouraged guests to flaunt their camo and "black ops" outfits. But we're not sure why they waited so long -- after all, it's always hunting season at L2. ;-)

The 130-foot smokestack you can see coming out of the Ritz-Carlton Georgetown is actually a well-known landmark. The hotel, which opened in 2003, was built on the site of a historic incinerator (circa 1932). The smokestack is inoperative, but -- since it was incorporated into the design of the 86-room boutique hotel -- is a hotspot unique meetings and lunch events.
