But, here are our reasons why we'd vacation (or staycation) here:

• Monuments at night. Ditch the daytime tour busses and check out the memorials after the sun sets for a real taste of the Nation's Capital.
• Obama-rama. Oh, you've got beaches? We've got POTUS. We win.
• Foodie love. We've got half smokes, food trucks and some of the nation's best burgers!
• Scandals. Where else can you have a forbidden romance with someone in power?
