If you are too trashed (or blonde) to sing the National Anthem, don't stumble out onto the football field -- even if you are a VIP member of  "The Mickey Mouse Club."

Singing the tune live, Aguilera, 30, was four lines into her rendition when she sang the words "what so proudly we watched" instead of the correct lyrics, "o'er the ramparts we watched." -US Weekly

Xtina says she got so lost in the moment of the song that she lost her place.

"I can only hope that everyone could feel my love for this country and that the true spirit of it’s anthem still came through," she told reporters.

Francis Scott Key, don't worry. Your "Star-Spangled Banner" is still beautiful, no matter what she sang.

And, Christina, no worries -- Hot 99.5's Toby Knapp says, "this isn't the first time the 'Anthem Curse' has struck down a pop star in Dallas."

Besides, we'll, like, totally forgive you if you kiss Madonna again.
