'Let's move': FLOTUS one-year anniversary tour kicks off

When FLOTUS says "let's move," she means it!

First Lady Michelle Obama will mark the one-year anniversary of "Let's Move!" with a rigorous event and media tour schedule. So crazy, in fact, that we've been moving around all day, trying to track down the deets.

Tuesday, February 8

2:30 PM: Let’s Move! Medical Community Call with Surgeon General Dr. Regina Benjamin
2:45 PM: Let’s Move! Healthy Schools Call with U.S. Department of Agriculture Secretary Tom Vilsack
3:15 PM: Let’s Move! to Improve Physical Activity for Kids Call with U.S. Department of Interior Secretary Ken Salazar and Drew Brees, President’s Council on Sports, Fitness and Nutrition
3:30 PM: Let’s Move! Cities and Towns Call with Mayors from San Antonio and Flint, Michigan

Wednesday, February 9

7:30 AM: First Lady will appear on the Today Show
9:00 AM: First Lady will appear on Live with Regis & Kelly
1:00 PM: The First Lady will visit to Burgess Peterson Academy, in Atlanta, Ga., to discuss school lunch programs
2:30 PM: The First Lady will host a conference call with online media to discuss her message to parents and the new Let’s Move! PSAs.
4:00 PM: Mrs. Obama will visit North Point Community Church in Alpharetta, Ga., where she'll "share personal reflections" about how she came to the issue of childhood obesity

I truly enjoy the work Michelle Obama does. It's so nice to have a young, fresh face in the White House. She's very energetic and charismatic. It's a nice post of her whereabouts. Love the monikers, FLOTUS and POTUS, lol.
