That’s a pretty sweet prom dress

Dave Odegard | Meet Tara Fey.
The Wisconsin teenager has probably the coolest prom dress we've seen yet. It's also one of a kind.
Why?
Because her mom, Kerrin Fey, crafted it out of Starburst wrappers, folded and pressed and then woven together. It took Mrs. Fey six years and five previous designs to create the dress (she also made matching shoes, a handbag, and a vest for Tara's date).
Wow. That's kind of nuts, right?
But what else is there to do in Wisconsin? (Are we right? Or, are we right?)
What's even crazier is that the theme for the prom is Candyland.
"[We] kind of lucked out on that one," Mama Fey said in an interview.
The best quote of the whole story though is from Tara's boyfriend/prom date. When a reporter asked what he thought of the whole dressed-in-candy-wrappers look, he responded with "I don't really have a choice."
Ha! The kid's barely 18 and already knows the score.
