Taco Bell: Yo Quiero Apology?

We've got to admit it -- Taco Bell has taken a novel approach in its corporate PR strategy.

In January, Alabama-based law firm Beasley Allen filed a class action lawsuit against the fast-food company alleging that their ground beef actually only contained only 36% meat.

The company immediately responded by running full-page ads in the New York Times, the Wall Street Journal, and USAToday thanking Beasley Allen for suing them and thus providing an opportunity to prove that their ground beef is exactly that.

Well, last week the lawsuit was dropped after Taco Bell provided enough proof that their ground beef tacos contain 88% meat and 12% secret ingredients.  To celebrate the fast-food giant ran another round of full-page ads demanding an apology.

Nicely done, Taco Bell.  Nicely done.
