Rob Lowe Used C-SPAN To Find Dates (Read All About It In His New Memoir)

Dave Odegard | In his new memoir, Stories I Only Tell My Friends, Rob Lowe spills on his high-flying days in the 80s with the Brat Pack, and tells the world what it was like to date Demi Moore.
But our favorite story in the book comes from his claim that he would use his TV to find women to hook up with -- mainly dancers or models in videos on MTV.
He'd spot a gal he liked, then he would have his people call her people.
Besides models, he says he also became smitten by Oliver North's secretary, Fawn Hall, while watching the Iran-Contra hearings on C-SPAN. So, he had his people call her people -- then, they went on a couple of dates.
He even took her to a Hollywood awards show where Sally Field recognized Fawn and shot them both a look of shock. Nice.
Other awesome anecdotes revealed in Lowe's book?
- A competition between himself and Charlie Sheen to see who partied harder (how timely);
- How he passed out in Michael J. Fox's bed (drunken and curling up with Michael);
- And, that his only friend -- who didn't abandon him during the whole sex-tape fiasco -- was Jodie Foster.
The book hits shelves Tuesday. (And yeah, we're totally getting it.)
