Bristol Palin interviewed with Mix 96.9 for a morning host spot on Mathew Blades' show.

Small world ... I actually used to work with his show (weekly guest appearances) when he was here in Washington, D.C., at Z104.

"I was really impressed with our meeting," Mathew said.

"I walked in [to our meeting] with absolutely no expectations. ... At the end of the day, if she's going to do this, if we're going to do this radio job together, it's got to be about the everyday stuff that we connect on."

Mathew said the two "discussed their families, Palin's son, hockey and what it is like to live in Arizona."

"She loves Maricopa. She loves her house," he said. "She loves that the weather is sunny every single day, which is a huge contrast to where she's from."

She also has a new boyfriend. :)
