House Speaker -- and hamburger lover -- John Boehner was inducted into the White Castle food chain's "Cravers Hall of Fame" Tuesday.
The Ohio Republican chowed down on a tiny slider and a bottle of Diet Coke as he was presented with a plaque that was engraved with a picture of White Castle's Cincinnati restaurant No. 11 (circa 1963), which he visited as a child.
The White Castle "Cravers Hall of Fame" is "prestigious club of diehard White Castle fans," according to Jamie Richardson, White Castle's vice president of government and corporate relations.
Speaker Boehner is the first 2011 inductee.

Did You Know? ... When White Castle opened its doors, their burgers were 5 cents each. The company has been around for almost one decade -- this week, it's celebrating its 90th anniversary.
