Is the joke on us?

We thought house arrest would be a bad thing for former IMF Chief Dominique Strauss-Kahn, but is kinda looks like he's living it up.

Not only has he moved from his old place to a new $14M townhouse in TriBeCa -- he's also eating pretty well for an alleged attempted rapist.

Last night, we hear he dined with his wife on a $250 steak dinner (takeout, obv) from Landmarc restaurant with his wife.

Team Glittarazzi wonders ... what's for dinner tonight?
