Food is always a hot topic in the Team Glittarazzi newsroom and we only have Washington, D.C.'s blossoming food scene to blame.
Here's our dish on where we want to eat this week:
Paul USA: This French bakery/cafe opened their first U.S. flagship store today in Penn Quarter. With more than 500 locations worldwide, they are sure to bring some genuine patisserie flair to the District. You don't par le vous francais? No worries, you can order their preservative-free breads, macarons, turnovers and croissants in good ol' English. www.Paul-USA.com
Toki Underground: Plans for a Penn Quarter Wagamama fell through -- and we were seriously concerned about where we would get an authentic ramen fix downtown. Lucky for us, Toki Underground just opened in the Atlas District (a.k.a. H Street area) ready to serve up ramen and dumplings along with a wide variety of sakes and other Asian-inspired adult bevvies. www.TokiUnderground.com
Fiola: In probably one of the most anticipated openings in years, Fiola's chef, Fabio Trabocchi, returns to D.C. to put his twist on modern Italian fare. Pasta made fresh daily, regional wines and a bar menu of small plates come together for what's sure to be a winning combination for the former Maestro chef. www.FiolaDC.com
