After fighting off ticket scalpers outside of the Verizon Center in Washington, D.C., we made our way into the USA Men's National Basketball Team's game against Brazil.
This was the hottest event to hit the Verizon Center all year -- and for a good reason.
Not only were all the ballers of the NBA in the house, but the USA's foremost V.I.P.s, the first couple, made an unannounced appearance as well. But, we weren't surprised in the slightest. We had a feeling that President Obama, an avid athlete and basketball fan, would be in the house.
The President was accompanied by First Lady Michelle Obama, Vice President Joe Biden and former White House Aide Reggie Love. The First Couple was also caught on the famous Verizon Center "Kiss Cam" to the delight of everyone in attendance. We can't be sure whether the President watching courtside helped Team USA to win the game, but it's safe to say that his presence didn't hurt.
Team USA won the game with a final score of 80-69.
