That title has now been bestowed upon Big Bird, whose costume sales have skyrocketed following Presidential Candidate Mitt Romney’s comments about cutting the government subsidy to PBS.
In fact, "Sassy Big Bird" costume sales (a.k.a. "Sexy Big Bird) have increased 500% at Costume Craze -- an increase they have not seen for Elmo or Cookie Monster costumes.
Hmm, we wonder if anyone will be dressing up like Jim Lehrer?
