Play With Your Food: Campbell's Celebrates 50 Years Of Andy Warhol's Soup Cans

alt

“Pop art is for everyone.”

So spoke Andy Warhol, whose iconic re-imagining of the Campbell’s soup can became one of the world’s most recognizable pieces of artwork, not to mention canned good.

Campbell’s, of course, embraced the publicity, and is again releasing four Warhol-inspired label designs at Target for 75 cents apiece in celebration of the 50th anniversary of Andy's soup can.

Talk about making art accessible.

Mr. Warhol himself had Campbell’s tomato soup for lunch every day for 20 years. (Makes you wonder what he would have done with a Pop-Tart box.)
