Think you could bag groceries faster than a bagger at the local Piggly Wiggly?
Think again!
The National Grocers Association (NGA) hosted it's first "Best Bagger Congressional Competition" on Capitol Hill this week.
Rep. Reid Ribble (R-Wis.) faced off against Stephanie Teteak, a bagger at a Wisconsin Piggly Wiggly, who won the "Best Bagger Championship" at a recent NGA convention in Las Vegas.
It's no surprise that the competition was "in the bag" for Stephanie -- who won by a more than 20-second lead.
The 30-year-old won the national title in February, then competed in Las Vegas against baggers from 24 states. It was her second consecutive shot at a national championship. Her bagging mentor, Tom Verhagen, president of Larry's Piggly Wiggly, was also on-site for added support.
Congrats, Stephanie!
