The United States Agency for International Development held its inaugural Frontiers in Development forum on the Georgetown University campus in Washington, D.C., this week.
The three-day event brought together world leaders, government officials, corporate executives and international development experts to address the important issues facing the future of foreign assistance and international development.
Mandy Moore (actress and philanthropist) and Barbara Pierce Bush (president of the Global Health Corps) spoke as part of the "Beyond the Usual Suspects" forum, which highlighted works being done by celebrities and political figures in the development field.
Of course, this isn't the first time that Mandy and Barbara have worked together to raise awareness about global development and foreign aid. They teamed up back in October of 2011 at the "Power of 1%" event at the Newseum in Washington.
