'Top Chef' Spike Mendelsohn Teaches NHL Players To Cook For A Good Cause

What's cooking? Good stuff.

The Washington Capitals hosted their third annual Caps Care Casino Night and Auction last month.

And, this weekend, Capitals defensemen Mike Green and Roman Hamrlik and goaltender Tomas Vokoun -- along with four auction experience winners -- visited the Hill Center at the Old Naval Hospital in Washington, D.C., for a personal cooking lesson from Bravo "Top Chef" Spike Mendelsohn (owner of We The Pizza and Good Stuff Eatery on Capitol Hill).

The winning bid for the experience was $11,500, and all proceeds benefit Washington Capitals Charities.

If that doesn't get your charitable taste buds drooling ... we don't know what will.
