You should be -- because not only will the game adopt the settings of the movies (Launch a Luke Skywalker bird around Tattooine? Yes, please.), it will also be launching incredibly soon, on Nov. 8.
We hope they're ready to keep the app from crashing on launch day, because we would hate to have to do real work on "Angry Birds Star Wars Day," wouldn't you?
DiD yOu KnOw? ... Angry Birds might seem like a silly smart phone game, but the folks behind it are actually all about using popularity for good. The creators decided to celebrate "Freddie For A Day" -- an annual event on Freddie Mercury's birthday to raise money for the AIDS charity that exists in his name -- this year by immortalizing the celebrated Queen frontman in the form of an Angry Bird.
