A hallowed piece of the Internet has been sullied.
If you regularly visit Google's home page, then you probably noticed that the (usually) clean and white website has an advertisement on it ... for the Internet giant's Nexus 7 tablet.
Now, this isn't the first time that Google has put an ad for one it's products on its famous homepage, but it's extremely rare -- and, we're pretty sure this is the biggest one they've ever done.
Announced in July, the Nexus 7 is the first Android tablet produced by Google. It's pretty much a cross between the spec awesomeness of an iPad and the affordability of a Kindle Fire. It has a huge screen, a serious processor, and is small enough to fit in your hand. The price? It starts at $200.
Hey, wait a minute! After seeing that ad, we checked out the Nexus 7 and are now actually considering picking one up. That's a pretty good Don-Draper moment, Google.
