We bumped into Bravo Top Chef's Gail Simmons this weekend.
She served as host at "Fight For Children's School Night 2012" in Washington, D.C.
Gail, who is a trained culinary expert, food writer and television personality -- and the special projects director with "Food & Wine" magazine -- is also committed to helping children.
Proceeds from the evening supports education programs including the "Quality Schools Initiative," which awards and recognizes public, charter and independent schools that are improving student achievement for low-income kids.
