We thought we were seeing things when we spotted 'N Sync's Lance Bass at Old Ebbitt Grill in Washington, D.C.

The restaurant is a fixture in our Nation's Capitol, catering to lobbyists, politicians and tourists alike -- just steps from the White House -- and the food is fab. Old Ebbitt is actually one of the busiest in the USA (the bartenders there make six figures).

So, it was the perfect spot for Lance to dine with his friend after the Amtrak train ride from NYC to DC. It's also super-close to his hotel ... the W (which we love).
