It's tough to get a late-night bite in Washington, D.C.
Almost everything closes around 9 p.m.
But, you'd think a restaurant would stay open -- if your name was Drew Barrymore.
After her "Big Miracle" world premiere that benefited TAPS, which we attended, Drew decided it was time for dinner. So, she and her fiance, Will Kopelman, headed to Komi, one of the best restaurants in town. Unfortunately, Komi was shutting its kitchen down, so the staff denied entry to Drew and her beau. (Seriously?! You do know she was in E.T., right?!)
So, Drew did what any self-respecting gal would do; she headed to one of Michelle Obama's favorite spots: Shake Shack.
But, let's be honest ... who needs food when you have a delicious piece of arm candy, like Will?

UPDATE: Komi responded to The Washington Post after we broke this story and learned that not only was it late ... Drew didn't have reservations and they had no room. 01-27-12
