Why can’t all politicians and pundits have a "Rumble in the Air-Conditioned Auditorium?"
If they did ... the world would be a much funnier place.
The O’Reilly Factor’s Bill O’Reilly (who is 6’4”) and The Daily Show’s Jon Stewart (who is 5’7”) went head-to-abdomen Saturday at The George Washington University Lisner Auditorium. Bill relied on placards to prove his points, while Jon relied on an automatic lift installed in his podium.
The economy, foreign policy, the media and everything else political took center stage as the two grappled, insulted and joked with one another.
The debate is available on demand, and half of the net profits benefit 17 different charities chosen by the two pundits, including Wounded Warrior Project, NYC Coalition for the Homeless and Doctors Without Borders.
