Anyone else sick of the attacks being hurled from both sides of the aisle, raise your hand.
Unanimous? Good, then let’s take a break.
Both Barack Obama and Mitt Romney are slated to set aside their differences and speak (to different sessions, of course) at the final day of Bill Clinton’s annual philanthropic summit, the Clinton Global Initiative.
Clinton’s idea for the initiative stemmed from his continued attendance of similar summits that failed to accomplish anything. The CGI has raised more than $70 million since its inception in 2005.
In addition to the two presidential candidates, Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and her predecessor, Condoleeza Rice, will be present, as will many of the G20 Summit leaders.
So, as you can see, it’s officially a party.
Let’s hope the kids play nicely.
