We're not sure if you're aware of this, but members of the Air Force aren't the biggest fans of their uniforms.

The common complaint is that they're "not military enough" and look too much like a "business suit."

In response, the Air Force has been working on some new uniform options and created a couple prototypes, which they showed to the press recently.

Above is a pic of a couple of prototype uniform styles, worn by Brig. Gen. Robert Allardice and Senior Master Sgt. Dana Athnos. And well, they look kind of AWESOME! Don't these look like something you'd see the crew of space ship wearing in a futuristic sci-fi movie?

Of course, the Air Force has to perform more official studies to see how their service members feel about the changes and there will probably be adjustments to the end result.

But we think they've got something here. Now, if only we had some spaceships and alien forces to fight in an intergalactic war to go with these uniforms. ...
