Sarah Palin is in town for CPAC 2012 -- with more than 10,000 conservatives -- but that didn't stop her from having a little fun.

We hear the former Alaska governor celebrated her 48th birthday in Washington, D.C., Friday evening. (Her actual birthday is today - Feb. 11.)

Also spotted at CPAC: Herman Cain [video]; and GOP Candidates Mitt Romney, Newt Gingrich and Rick Santorum.

Sarah was the closing speaker for CPAC, and, since we are sponsors of the closing party for the young GOPers at CPAC, we are hoping to see her tonight as well!

Happy birthday, Sarah!
