Have Your Heard The Gaddafi + Condi Love Story?

We’re not sure if you heard, but Muammar Gaddafi passed away recently.

It was kind of a big deal.

And, in the days since, several news stories about the late dictator’s (we’ll call them) “eccentricities” have come out.

But, we can't get enough of his crush on Bush-Era National Security-Advisor-Turned-Secretary-Of-State Condoleezza Rice. Seriously, this is a real thing.

Muammar had a nickname for her: he called her his "darling black African woman."

Yes, we are completely serious, guys.

In fact, Muammar’s schoolboy crush was so bad that among the loot the rebels discovered a photo album dedicated specifically to Condi. (OK. That’s actually a little stalker-ish.)

Our favorite part in this story, however, happened late last week, when we got a sneak peek at a portion of Condi's upcoming memoir, which that deals with her with much-hyped state visit to Libya in 2003 after Muammar had announced his government would drop it’s nuclear weapons program.

According to Condi, the dictator kept insisting on holding the meeting in his tent. But, she politely declined and maintained that it be held at his official residence. Afterward, Muammar convinced Condi to have dinner with him in his private kitchen. (Some guys have a problem with "no.") This is when he presented her with videotape he'd made just for her.

The tape ended up being a completely innocent movie, featuring photos of Condi with various world leaders, set to an original song that Muammar had composed just for her, entitled "Black Flower in the White House."

Holy crap. That’s creepy!
