POTUS Barack Obama got a bear hug so big this weekend that people are calling it a bench press.

On Sunday, Barack stopped by Big Apple Pizza and Pasta Restaurant in Fort Pierce, Fla., where he was greeted by Owner Scott Van Duzer.

"Scott, what's going on man," the president said as he walked in. "Scott, let me tell you, you are like the biggest pizza shop owner I've ever seen."

(Scott's 6-foot-3, weighs 260 pounds and bench presses 350 pounds, according to a pool report.)

"Everybody look at these guns," Barack said as he pointed to Scott's arms. "If I eat your pizza will I look like that?"

Then, Scott laughed and gave the POTUS a big hug -- which lifted him about a foot off the floor. [Check out the video, below.]

Later, Barack was still talking about the experience.

"I still wonder how he got these biceps, but what we know is that the guy's just got a big heart along with big pecs," he told the press pool. "So, we're very proud of him and we just want to say thank you for all the great work."
