The POTUS just upped his "cool" game.

In a move likely to appeal to the college students of America, President Obama has filmed his silliest video yet.

It's a commercial starring himself, Kal Penn and John Cho ... a.k.a. Harold and Kumar.

Kal -- who's spent the last couple of years working for the Obama administration, on and off -- answers an unlikely phone call from the POTUS in which he's asked whether he's "on board" to host the DNC, and then proceeds to eat junk food and watch cartoons with his pal, John.

We're not entirely sure what any of this has to do with the election, but we're definitely on board!
