Independence Day is fast approaching and, that begs the question: who would you trust to lead our country through an alien invasion?
A new poll commissioned for the National Geographic channel reports that 65% of Americans believe that President Obama would handle the job better than Mitt Romney.
Don't believe in UFOs and tiny green men? You don't have to believe! As it turns out, only 17% of Americans don't believe in UFOs. The rest either are believers or aren't sure.
Either way, we're really hoping that if things go all "Close Encounters of the Third Kind" on us, there's some sort of White House contingency plan in place!
DiD yOu KnOw? ... What superhero would you trust to get you to safety if aliens attacked? According to the poll, most Americans would trust the Hulk first, followed by Batman, then Spider Man. We personally would trust Thor, but that might just be because, if asked, we would follow Chris Hemsworth to the ends of the Earth.
