Mitt Romney and Barack Obama impersonators were out on the streets of Washington, D.C., for the "Free Ice Cream Presidential Poll" this week.
The event gave Washingtonians and tourists alike a chance to vote for their favorite 2012 candidate by choosing sides of an ice cream truck.
Pretty sweet, right?
The creator of this sweet poll was Guy Berliner of Berliner Specialty Distributors. Since 1973, BSD has pioneered the introduction of gourmet ice creams, specialty and natural frozen foods in the Mid-Atlantic region. It is Unilever Ice Cream's distributor of the year and one of the largest distributors of Good Humor, Popsicle, Ben & Jerry's, Klondike, Breyer's, Mars and Magnum novelties -- as well as Snickers & Well's Blue Bunny ice cream.
So, who won? It appears that ice-cream aficionados love them some Obama.
