The comedian announced today that she'll be running as a candidate for the Green Party.

You may be asking yourself how that could possibly happen, but we know how much you loved watching "Roseanne" back in the day -- and, we can only imagine how funny it would be if she won the election.

In these tough economic times, we're thinking laughter is what this country really needs. And, who knows ... maybe she's got some good plans for this country?
