Overheard on the bus: The tour guides are actual actors who will perform for you upon request. Kinda fun! (Psst … ask Michael to perform the theme to the “Muppets” … it’s pretty hilarious! (He’s good!)

THE TASTING ROOM

One of three satellite tasting rooms for Boxwood Winery, The Tasting Room serves Boxwood wines, imported and domestic red and white wines from self-dispensing enomatic machines.

This unique spot is one of Washington, D.C.’s newest gems.

Overheard it through the grapevine: Boxwood Winery is owned by Rita and John Kent Cooke — the son of the late Redskins owner Jack Kent Cooke. Their daughter, Rachel Martin (featured in our video) manages and oversees The Tasting Room’s operations.
