Golzar Amirmotazedi — a.k.a. that goth-looking gal with self-proclaimed anxiety issues in The Real World: DC’s episode 11 – is suing MTV for invading her privacy, representing her in false light and the intentional infliction of emotional distress.
According to her Superior Court complaint (view court records after the jump), cast members Josh and Andrew lured her into the Sign of the Whale and “fed” her 100-pound body eight to 10 mixed alcoholic drinks “as well as shots of tequila and Jaegermester.”
Umm, Golzar, if you were drunk, how do you remember what shots you did and how many drinks you had?
The 22-year-old makeup artist claims that she is a person “of slight build who does not frequently drink alcoholic beverages,” and that Real World producers did not get her consent to air the footage of her drunken escapades.
Psst, Golzar! They didn’t call me up and ask to run my footage, either. They cut through that red tape with that fancy little waiver you and I both signed.
She is seeking $5M in damages, claiming that being on the show has caused her to lose friends, employment opportunities and sleep.
Welcome to The Real World, Golzar.
Editor’s note: In my opinion, she shouldn’t be suing MTV. … She should be suing her parents. … For naming her Golzar.
