– the founder and CEO of Susan G. Komen for the Cure, an organization named after her only sister, Susan, who died from breast cancer in 1980 at age 36 — came to news-ladies-newsbabestown yesterday for “Newsbabes Bash for Breast Cancer 2010,” an event to thank D.C.’s news ladies for their support!

More than 500 people gathered at Georgetown’s Ritz Carlton for this fabulous event, which benefited the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure.

– Markette and Vanessa from The Traveling Talk Show
– Good Morning Washington’s Alison Starling
