Miss District of Columbia USA 2010, MacKenzie Green, is busy making appearances and prepping for the Miss USA pageant, which takes place April 18, 2010, at the Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino.
We think she’s great and wish her the best of luck — but, that doesn’t mean we’re gonna skip this month’s critique of the beauty queens!
Check out the captions that the “Glittarazzi Intern Posse” came up with last week while reviewing some of the recent Miss District of Columbia USA 2010 pageant pics. …

Being Charitable Never Goes Out Of Style: Miss Virginia 2008 Tara Wheeler (left) shaved her head to raise money for the St. Baldrick's Foundation. She also looks great in this winter's latest color trend, Persian blue, as she stands beside Miss DC 2008, Kate Marie Grinold. Two thumbs up!

"Thank God! ... I Can Finally Eat A Cheeseburger!": If she wasn't vegan, that is precisely what would be going through MacKenzie Green's mind after being crowned Miss DC USA 2010. ('Cause that is what would definitely be going through ours!)
Did You Know?
- Catalina swimwear began the Miss USA Pageant when a Miss America winner refused to wear the swimsuit they picked for her! The bathing beauty concept has come a long way from those early days.
- The actress Halle Berry was first introduced to the world as first runner-up in the Miss USA contest in 1986 (Christy Fichtner was crowned that year). While she lost the Miss Universe bid, Berry’s movie career was launched by the publicity she received and the amazing beauty and poise she presented to the world.
Oh, and MacKenzie, when you are in Vegas, we hope you will not be a biatch to the gay ‘n’ fabulous Glittarazzi out there (a la Miss California). The last thing D.C. needs is an angry Queen Perez Hilton on its back. :-0
