Nice Package

target to go store
Last night, while walking to Bodega in Georgetown, we noticed a holiday monstrosity on M Street.

“Did Santa’s sleigh crash land between PNC Bank and Old Glory?” Unfortunately not.

The green and red contraption is a Target To-Go store — which basically means Target has made a crash landing in Georgetown.

There are three of these temporary selling spaces in existence, which are targeting urbanites D.C., SF and NYC this holiday season. They’ll all be open this weekend (Dec. 11-13) and will stock 50 popular pre-wrapped gift items — from ornaments and Play-Doh to beauty items and video games — that shoppers will order by number.

OK, OK. Pre-wrapped … order like a Happy Meal … we get it. Nice package!
